Jewish Ethics Book Club

Exploring Our Spiritual Conscience

This peer-led learning circle chooses different books on Jewish ethics for monthly learning + discussion. Together, they ponder questions such as:

• How can we connect the Jewish stories we read with our desire to act more ethically?

• What does believing in a higher power have to do with ethics?

• How can I make my life feel more meaningful?

  The Ethics Book Club meets monthly either in person in a centrally located place, or virtually, depending on weather and group availability.

  Discussions are relaxed and informal, as we relate ethical themes from the book we’re reading to current events, the Jewish calendar, and making Jewish ethics a part of our everyday lives. 

  No prior knowledge of Jewish text or ethics is necessary – all are welcome!
