Join us for an informal Jewish and secular-based text study, along with Den members Ana Levy (she/her) and Stacy Brody (she/her) who will be co-facilitating. We will be seeking to answer the question "What inspires us to strive for racial justice in our own communities?". Together we will reflect on what Juneteenth can mean for us personally and communally and our individual approaches to anti-racism. We will be discussing anti-racism, white privilege, and the ways our Jewish identities interact with our ideas of race & justice. Experience with Jewish text study is not required!
This gathering will be held in-person, outdoors in DC.
